Cannon Mountain RV Park is a compact 7-site RV park located on the north shore of scenic Echo Lake within Franconia Notch State Park. Open year-round, this RV park provides an ideal base camp for exploring the White Mountains region, with easy access to hiking, biking, fishing, and swimming opportunities. The park's location offers convenient proximity to popular attractions including The Flume Gorge and Cannon Mountain aerial tramway, both within Franconia Notch State Park. During the peak camping season from Memorial Day Weekend through Columbus Day, the park provides three-way hookups (electric, water, and sewer) along with picnic tables and fire rings at each site. In the off-season, from the Tuesday following Columbus Day through the Thursday before Memorial Day Weekend, only electric hookups are available, and the park operates as carry-in, carry-out. Each site accommodates RVs up to 40 feet in length with back-in access. Winter campers particularly appreciate the convenience of staying at the base of Cannon Mountain Ski Area. The park is located in the Echo Lake Beach parking area and can be accessed via I-93 Exit 34C. Note that pets are not permitted at this campground, and there is limited to no cell service depending on provider. Reservations can be made up to 11 months in advance through the New Hampshire State Parks reservation system.
