About
Wenatchee Confluence State Park Campground occupies 194 acres at the meeting point of the Columbia and Wenatchee Rivers in Chelan County, Washington. The campground is divided into two distinct sections connected by a pedestrian bridge: the north section features developed camping and recreational facilities, while the south section contains the Horan Natural Area, a protected wetland preserve. The campground offers 60 total sites, with 52 full hookup sites (electric, water, and sewer) and 8 standard sites, accommodating RVs up to 65 feet in length. The park operates year-round and serves as a hub for cyclists on the 10-mile paved Apple Capital Loop Trail, which runs through the park and crosses two Columbia River bridges. An additional 5.5-mile Rocky Reach Trail connects north to Lincoln Rock State Park. Water enthusiasts enjoy the two-lane boat launch, designated swimming beach, and calm river access for kayaking and paddleboarding. The campground features ADA-accessible facilities including restrooms, showers, and campsites, plus a dump station, picnic shelters, and sports fields. A group camp accommodating 50-250 people is also available. The mild climate makes winter camping feasible, though water hookups at individual sites are turned off from early November through spring due to freezing temperatures. During winter, two frost-free water fill stations remain operational and all restrooms stay fully functional. The park's suburban location provides easy access to Wenatchee's amenities, downtown dining, Ohme Gardens, Rocky Reach Dam, and Mission Ridge Ski Area.
