About

Watson Pond State Park is a 10-acre seasonal day-use park operated by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. The park features a 300-foot swimming beach with an adjacent picnic area, making it a popular destination for families during the summer months. Lifeguards are on duty seven days a week through Labor Day, subject to staff availability. The park includes a bath house with flush toilets, a playground, and multiple small charcoal grills for picnicking. A small pavilion with a concrete floor near the swimming beach can be reserved for group gatherings of up to 50 people. The pavilion area has flush toilets nearby and a dumpster on site. This is a day-use facility only and does not offer overnight camping, tent sites, or RV camping. Parking is available daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm with fees of $8 for Massachusetts residents and $15 for non-residents. Restrooms are open from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
