About
Viola Campground occupies a scenic stretch of shoreline on the Kings River Arm of Table Rock Lake, a 779-mile-shoreline reservoir winding through the valleys of the Ozark Mountains from Branson, Missouri to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The campground offers 56 sites in three configurations: standard electric, standard non-electric, and tent-only. Hot showers, potable drinking water, and a dump station serve the campground. Boaters and water sports enthusiasts are particularly drawn to Viola for its proximity to excellent facilities. Kings River Marina, located within the recreation area, provides fuel, equipment rentals, boat storage, and fishing licenses. A boat ramp, designated swimming beach, and playground round out the amenities. Bass fishing is a major draw, and scuba diving, hiking, and wildlife viewing are popular activities. The campground sits about 36 miles from Branson, offering access to grocery stores, fuel, and tourist attractions. The Dewey Short Visitors Center at Table Rock Dam features educational exhibits about the area's natural history and the story of eagles in Missouri.
