About

Cape Fair is a spacious and shady campground located on the James River Arm of Table Rock Lake in the beautiful foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this campground offers 45 reservable electric campsites, with many sites positioned along the waterfront providing stunning lake views. The campground is particularly popular among anglers, as its location on the upper James River Arm provides access to some of the best fishing action on Table Rock Lake. Campers can fish directly from the spacious shoreline without leaving the campground. A full-service marina nearby offers fuel, boat storage, and equipment rentals for those wanting to get out on the water for fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing. Campground amenities include hot showers, drinking water, electric hookups at all sites, and a dump station. A large swimming beach is located within walking distance of a picnic area, and a playground provides entertainment for families. The nearby Table Rock Lakeshore Trail offers 2 miles of scenic hiking through oak and hickory forests with seasonal wildflowers and views of the lake. Additional hiking and mountain biking opportunities are available at the nearby Mark Twain National Forest. The campground is located about 25 miles from Branson, Missouri for supplies and attractions.

Directions

From Reeds Spring, Missouri, head south on Highway 13 for 1.4 miles. Turn west onto Highway 76 and continue for 8 miles to Cape Fair. Turn southwest onto Lake Road 76-82 and follow signs to the campground.
