Baxter Campground sits on the scenic White River Arm of Table Rock Lake in the Mark Twain National Forest near Lampe, Missouri. This spacious and sunny campground offers 54 reservable sites, most with electric hookups. Modern amenities include hot showers, drinking water, a dump station, and electric service. The campground provides a swimming area, boat ramp, and playground, with a full-service marina nearby offering boat rentals, fuel, and fishing licenses. Table Rock Lake is acclaimed as one of the best bass fishing lakes in the hemisphere, with abundant crappie, catfish, and bluegill. The lake's clear waters are popular for water sports including tubing, wakeboarding, water skiing, and scuba diving. The 2-mile Table Rock Lakeshore Trail offers hiking with seasonal wildflowers and fall foliage. Additional hiking and mountain biking opportunities are available throughout the surrounding Mark Twain National Forest. The campground is located 23 miles from Branson, Missouri, providing access to additional amenities and attractions. The Dewey Short Visitors Center at Table Rock Dam offers educational films and exhibits about the area's natural and cultural history.

From Lampe, Missouri, continue onto Highway 13 and turn west onto Highway H. Continue nearly 5 miles to the campground.
