Campground 3 at Roaring River State Park is one of three campgrounds within this popular 4,294-acre state park in Barry County, Missouri. Following improvements completed in early 2025, the campground now offers 40 total campsites, with 30 full hookup sites featuring sewer, electric, and water connections, making it ideal for RVs and trailers. The campground accommodates rigs with driveway lengths ranging from 37 to 64 feet. The campground is situated within one of Missouri's premier trout fishing destinations, where the spring-fed Roaring River provides year-round fishing opportunities. While the campground reopened in February 2025 after upgrades, it now operates seasonally with partial availability during winter months when some sites remain open but showers and water systems are turned off. Visitors can access the park store for camping supplies, explore seven scenic hiking trails, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Ozark landscape. The campground provides a convenient base for anglers, hikers, and nature enthusiasts seeking a peaceful retreat in southwest Missouri.
