Lakeview Campground sits along the shores of Beech Fork Lake, a 720-acre reservoir on the western edge of West Virginia near Huntington. The campground operates year-round and features 30-amp electric hookups at each site, with full-service bathhouses providing restroom facilities. Beech Fork State Park encompasses over 3,100 acres and offers four distinct camping areas with 275 total campsites, 99 of which are lakefront. Lakeview is among the two year-round campgrounds (along with Old Orchard), while Moxley Branch and Four Coves operate seasonally from mid-April through October. The park features Camper's Corner Store for supplies and firewood, though Wi-Fi is only available at the Old Orchard bathhouse. Reservations can be made online through WV State Parks, by phone, or at the campground office. Weekend reservations require a minimum two-night stay (Friday and Saturday), while weeknight stays have a one-night minimum. Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights. Checkout is at noon and check-in begins at 1 p.m.
