Tippecanoe River State Park

Open — Open year-round for camping reservations. Rent-a-camp cabins available March 1 through December 14.

About

Tippecanoe River State Park sits along 7 miles of the scenic Tippecanoe River in Pulaski County, Indiana. The park offers a variety of camping experiences, from 112 electric sites with modern comfort stations to 56 primitive horsemen's sites, canoe camp sites, youth tent areas, and rent-a-camp cabins. The campground features a dump station and is open year-round for reservations. The park's 23 miles of trails provide easy to moderate hiking and horseback riding opportunities through oak forests, sand hills, prairies, and river bluffs. Historic Works Progress Administration structures from the 1930s include a 90-foot fire tower offering panoramic views and Tepicon Recreation Hall, a National Register building popular for events. The Tippecanoe River is ideal for canoeing and kayaking, and anglers can fish year-round for northern pike, bass, catfish, crappie, and bluegill. Cross-country skiing is available on trails during winter months.
