About

Sunset Point Campground is a scenic first-come, first-served campground situated on the south shore of Lake Granby within the Arapaho National Recreation Area. The 25 non-electric sites are shaded and can accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 46 feet. Each site features a tent pad, fire grate, and picnic table, with single sites accommodating up to eight people and double sites available for larger groups. Facilities include vault toilets, potable drinking water from hand pumps, and trash service. A boat ramp provides direct lake access for fishing and boating enthusiasts. The campground's location on Lake Granby makes it ideal for water-based recreation, while the surrounding Arapaho National Recreation Area offers opportunities for hiking, scenic driving, and wildlife viewing. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations available. An Arapaho National Recreation Area day-use fee applies in addition to camping fees. Dogs must be kept on a hand-held leash at all times. All vehicles must fit on designated parking spurs, and off-road driving or parking is prohibited.
