The campground is currently open for first-come, first-served camping. The adjacent Sunset Point Boat Ramp opening was delayed due to low water levels at Lake Granby. Single sites are $33/night and double sites are $67/night, plus the ANRA day-use fee.

Locations include, but are not limited to Craig, Steamboat Springs, Walden, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Meeker, Rangely, Glenwood Springs, Eagle, Vail, Breckenridge, Central City, Georgetown, Grand Junction, Aspen, Leadville, Fairplay, Delta, Gunnison, Buena Vista, Salida, Montrose, Nucla, Ouray, Telluride, Dove Creek, Cortez and Saguache. About
Sunset Point Campground is a scenic first-come, first-served campground situated on the south shore of Lake Granby within the Arapaho National Recreation Area. The 25 non-electric sites are shaded and can accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 46 feet. Each site features a tent pad, fire grate, and picnic table, with single sites accommodating up to eight people and double sites available for larger groups. Facilities include vault toilets, potable drinking water from hand pumps, and trash service. A boat ramp provides direct lake access for fishing and boating enthusiasts. The campground's location on Lake Granby makes it ideal for water-based recreation, while the surrounding Arapaho National Recreation Area offers opportunities for hiking, scenic driving, and wildlife viewing. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations available. An Arapaho National Recreation Area day-use fee applies in addition to camping fees. Dogs must be kept on a hand-held leash at all times. All vehicles must fit on designated parking spurs, and off-road driving or parking is prohibited.
Directions
From Granby, head northwest on US Highway 34 for six miles. Turn east on County Road 6 (NFSR 125) and continue 1.5 miles to the campground on the south shore of Lake Granby.
