About

Stone Creek Campground is a developed campground in Mount San Jacinto State Park, situated approximately 5 miles north of Idyllwild on Highway 243 at an elevation of about 5,400 feet. The campground features 44 sites nestled among pine and manzanita trees, offering a more primitive mountain camping experience compared to other developed campgrounds in the park. The campground provides essential amenities including water spigots, vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings or barbeques at each site. There is also a day-use picnic area, amphitheater, and nature trail. The maximum trailer length is 24 feet, with a maximum of two vehicles and eight people per site.
