About
Sollers Cabin is a historic Forest Service cabin rental nestled in the Santa Catalina Mountains within the Coronado National Forest. The two-story, six-room cabin accommodates up to eight guests across three bedrooms (each with a queen bed) and two queen futons in the living room. The dining room seats eight, and a sunroom provides a quiet space for morning coffee. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and basic cookware and dishes. The cabin has electricity, electric heating (no air conditioning), running water, and 1.5 bathrooms with flush toilets and a shower. Guests must bring their own sleeping bags, linens, pillows, towels, dish soap, toilet paper, garbage bags, and food. The indoor fireplace is not available for use, but an outdoor fire ring is permitted unless fire restrictions are in place. Cell coverage is limited and unreliable. Recreational opportunities abound nearby, including hiking, mountain biking, birding, rock climbing, and horseback riding. Rose Canyon Lake offers fishing, and Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley provides winter sports when snowfall permits. The Sky Island Scenic Byway (General Hitchcock Highway) and the hamlet of Summerhaven are short drives away. Sabino Canyon Recreation Area and Saguaro National Park East are within an hour's drive.
