Warren Group Campground is situated within the larger Gerstle Cove Campground complex at Salt Point State Park, positioned on the ocean side of Highway 1. This group camping facility can accommodate up to 40 people and 10 vehicles, making it ideal for organized groups seeking a coastal camping experience. The site includes essential amenities such as picnic tables, food boxes, fire rings, water spigots, a dumpster, and access to bathroom facilities. Dogs are not allowed at the group campground. Salt Point State Park encompasses six miles of spectacular Sonoma Coast shoreline, from sandy beach coves to steep sandstone cliffs and rocky promontories. The park offers diverse landscapes including open coastal prairie, forested hills, and unique pygmy forest ecosystems atop the coastal ridge. With over 20 miles of hiking trails, an underwater marine reserve for diving, and opportunities for fishing and beachcombing, the park provides abundant outdoor recreation. The remote location is approximately 90 miles north of San Francisco, 18 miles from the nearest gas stations in Gualala or Jenner, creating a true escape along California's dramatic Northern Coast.
