Forest Order No. 05-01-25-13, Camping Equipment Prohibition

Sage Picnic Site is a small day-use recreation area situated within the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument in Angeles National Forest. The site features a single picnic table in a natural forest setting, making it an intimate spot for small groups or individuals seeking a quiet outdoor experience. Restroom facilities are available on-site, but visitors should bring their own drinking water as no potable water is provided. The picnic site is located in the rugged San Gabriel Mountains at an elevation where visitors can enjoy the forested landscape. Standard Adventure Pass regulations apply, with fees of $5 per vehicle per day or $30 for an annual pass. Day-use hours are typically 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. when the site is open. Overnight camping is not permitted at this picnic area, as is standard for all Angeles National Forest picnic sites.
