Restroom facilities are available on-site, but visitors should bring their own drinking water as no potable water is provided. The picnic site is located in the rugged San Gabriel Mountains at an elevation where visitors can enjoy the forested landscape. Standard Adventure Pass regulations apply, with fees of $5 per vehicle per day or $30 for an annual pass. Day-use hours are typically 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. when the site is open.
