Riverside Campground & Cabins provides a serene retreat on 16 acres along the Big Sur River in the heart of Big Sur, approximately 26 miles south of Carmel on Highway 1. The campground features 34 campsites nestled in a mixed forest of coastal redwood, maple, oak, laurel, and poplar trees, with many sites positioned directly along the river. Each campsite includes a picnic table and firepit, with select RV sites offering water and electric hookups for trailers and motorhomes up to 25 feet in length. The property also includes 11 cabins and rooms ranging from cozy one-room units to spacious two-bedroom cabins with kitchens and fireplaces. The campground provides access to the Big Sur River for swimming and tubing, with inner tubes available for guests. A camp store offers essential supplies and convenience items. Riverside Campground is ideally located for exploring Big Sur, with beach access and miles of hiking trails just minutes away along Highway 1. Directions

Located on Highway 1 approximately 26 miles south of Carmel and 1.6 miles north of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park in Big Sur. The entrance is at 47020 Highway 1 and involves crossing a narrow driveway over the Big Sur River.
