About
Keuka Lake State Park encompasses 621 acres in the heart of New York's Finger Lakes wine country, offering a peaceful camping experience with stunning views of vineyard-covered slopes and the shimmering waters of Keuka Lake. The park operates three camping areas with a total of 150 tent and trailer sites, including 53 sites with electric hookups. Modern amenities include newly renovated shower buildings with heated restrooms, making shoulder-season camping comfortable. The park's waterfront location provides excellent recreational opportunities including a designated swimming beach, boat launch ramp with marina dockage, and fishing access. Hiking trails wind through the property, and the park remains open year-round for day use activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and hunting in designated areas. A playground and two rental pavilions serve families and groups. Situated just southeast of Branchport at the northern end of Keuka Lake, the campground serves as an ideal base for exploring the surrounding wine country. The facility's well-maintained grounds feature paved paths, manicured lawns, and scenic overlooks. Pets are welcome at campsites with standard state park restrictions, though boats and trailers must be stored in the main parking lot or rented marina slips rather than at individual campsites.
