Keuka Lake State Park offers a classic Finger Lakes camping experience on the scenic west branch of Y-shaped Keuka Lake. The 621-acre park sits at the northern tip of the lake, about 6 miles west of Penn Yan, surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards that define this renowned wine region. While campsites are not directly on the lakefront, the park provides easy access to the water via a boat launch ramp and 8-slip marina with transient docking available. The campground features 150 spacious, level sites on grassy terrain with a mix of sun and shade. Tree and shrub plantings provide some privacy between sites. Every site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill cover. Fifty-three sites offer 30-amp electric hookups, while the remaining sites are non-electric. Comfort stations in each camping loop provide flush toilets, sinks, mirrors, and hot/cold running water showers. A dump station with potable water spigots serves RV campers, and shared water spigots are located throughout (one per four campsites). Beyond camping, the park offers hiking trails that connect to the Keuka Outlet Trail and provide access to nearby wineries. A playground and volleyball area are available for families. The park is open year-round for day use from dawn to dusk, with camping operating seasonally from mid-May through mid-October. Reservations are made through ReserveAmerica up to 9 months in advance.
