About

Pearl Lake State Park is a serene mountain retreat nestled at the base of Farwell Mountain in northwest Colorado. The campground offers 36 sunny campsites with views of both Pearl Lake and the surrounding Colorado mountains, creating an ideal escape into a lush forest setting. Each campsite includes level parking areas, fire rings, picnic tables, and 14-foot by 14-foot tent pads. The park also features two year-round yurts with electric heat and power, circular skylights, and bunk beds, providing a comfortable alternative to traditional camping. The campground provides vault and flush toilets throughout the facility, with water hydrants conveniently located for camper use. One campsite and one yurt are wheelchair accessible. Pearl Lake's calm, wakeless waters are perfect for boating, fishing, and paddling, while the Pearl Lake trail offers a peaceful escape along the shoreline. The park's location provides easy access to the wealth of hiking and biking trails in the adjacent Routt National Forest. Pets are welcome on leash throughout the campground and in one designated pet-friendly yurt for an additional fee.
