About

Quinn Springs Pavilion provides a covered picnic shelter in Cherokee National Forest, ideal for family reunions, church picnics, and group gatherings of up to 50 people. Named for the natural spring that seeps from the mountainside above, the pavilion is nestled in a grove of large white oaks, hickories, and yellow poplars directly across Highway 30 from the Hiwassee State Scenic River. The covered pavilion features both large and small charcoal grills, and additional picnic sites are available nearby for overflow. A vault toilet is on-site, but there is no potable water, so visitors must bring their own. Parking is available in a graveled lot. The pavilion is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with no lighting available. The Hiwassee River across the highway is a popular fishing destination and offers excellent opportunities for rafting and kayaking, with nearby outfitters providing equipment rentals. Three hiking trails are accessible from the area, including Oswald Dome Trail, Fisherman's Trail, and Lowery Falls Trail. The historic Reliance District is a short drive away. Pets must be leashed, and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Directions

Located on Highway 30 about 6 miles south of Etowah, TN, and 6 miles north of Benton, TN. From Highway 411, turn onto Highway 30; pavilion is 0.3 miles on the right.
