About

Percy Quin State Park sits on 1,700 acres surrounding Lake Tangipahoa in Pike County, Mississippi, about 6 miles south of McComb. Named after a U.S. Congressman from the region, the park opened in 1939 and has grown into one of Mississippi's most popular state parks. The campground offers 102 RV sites with full hookups including 50/30/20-amp electric, water, and sewer connections. Twenty of these are lakefront premium sites with direct views of the lake. The campground roads and pads are paved. For tent campers, 50 primitive sites are tucked into a wooded area with direct access to the lake shore; water and restrooms are available nearby. Four bathhouses with hot showers are distributed throughout the campground area. Beyond camping, the park features an 18-hole golf course, a marina with boat rentals, fishing pier, swimming pool (for overnight guests), nature trails, playgrounds, tennis courts, and a conference center. The lake offers bass, bream, crappie, and catfish fishing.
