* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Fayette, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Hocking, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto and Warren. * WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Soils remain moist and excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall through Wednesday morning is expected to be between 2 and 3 inches, with higher amounts expected along a narrow west-east axis. About
Buckeye Pavilion is a group camping facility located within Rocky Fork State Park in southwestern Ohio. The park is centered around a 2,080-acre recreational lake that offers unlimited horsepower boating, fishing, and swimming opportunities. The surrounding landscape includes wetlands and dolomite caves characteristic of the region. The main campground features 190 campsites with various hookup options, modern facilities including air-conditioned restrooms and showerhouses, and amenities such as a camp store, dump station, and boat launch ramps. The park provides access to hiking trails, multiple fishing piers, public beaches with changing facilities, and recreational activities including basketball, volleyball, and miniature golf. The East Shore Marina includes a restaurant, while additional food service is available at North Beach during the season.
Directions
From Hillsboro, Ohio, travel east 3 miles on State Route 124. Turn left onto North Shore Drive and continue for 2 miles. Turn right into the campground, proceed to the stop sign, turn left past the camp store and miniature golf course, then turn right and follow up the hill to the park office parking lot.
