About

The Lake Shelter is one of two day-use picnic shelters at Pike Lake State Park, a 600-acre park nestled in the forested hills of southern Ohio near Bainbridge. Each shelter can accommodate groups of up to 80 people and is available for reservation through ReserveOhio. The shelters are equipped with picnic tables and provide a scenic setting for family reunions, group outings, and other daytime gatherings. Pike Lake State Park surrounds a 13-acre lake and offers numerous recreational opportunities including hiking trails, a swimming beach, fishing, and boat rentals. The park features a nature center with seasonal programs and an 18-hole disc golf course. While the Lake Shelter itself is strictly a day-use facility, the park also offers overnight accommodations including a 79-site electric campground, cabins, and a group lodge for those seeking extended stays.
