About

The Lake Shelter at Pike Lake State Park provides a reservable group gathering space in the heart of southern Ohio's scenic landscape. Pike Lake State Park encompasses 587 acres of wooded hills and surrounds a small 13-acre lake that was meticulously hand-dug. The park is characterized by dense forests of oak, hickory, tulip, and ash trees, creating a rustic and secluded atmosphere. The shelter can accommodate up to 80 people, making it suitable for family reunions, group picnics, and special events. The park offers various recreational opportunities including fishing, paddling on the lake, and hiking trails through the surrounding Pike State Forest. A camp store operates seasonally from mid-May through mid-October. Pike Lake State Park also features 79 electric campsites, cabins, and a group camp area for those looking to extend their visit. The park's location in Pike County provides visitors with a peaceful retreat surrounded by the natural beauty of southern Ohio's forested hills.
