This could bring locally heavy rainfall to areas that already have very wet soil. This could result in rapid runoff and flash flooding.

Pike Lake State Park Campground sits within 587 acres of Appalachian hill country in Pike County, Ohio. The campground operates year-round with 79 campsites, all equipped with 30-amp electric hookups. Sites include fire rings and picnic tables, with potable water available at spigots throughout the grounds. A bathhouse with flush toilets and hot showers serves campers seasonally, supplemented by a pit toilet facility. A dump station and seasonal camp store round out the amenities. The park centers on a 13-acre lake offering swimming at a sandy beach, fishing for bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie, and trout, plus rentals of rowboats, kayaks, and canoes. Only non-powered watercraft and electric motors up to 4.5 horsepower are permitted. Hiking trails traverse the surrounding forest, and an 18-hole disc golf course provides additional recreation. The park also features basketball courts and a playground. Reservations are available up to six months in advance through ReserveOhio.com or by calling 866-644-6727. The campground accommodates RVs up to approximately 33-42 feet depending on the specific site, with some pull-through options available. One ADA-accessible site and an ADA unisex shower facility serve guests with mobility needs.
