Pike Lake State Park Campground is nestled in the wooded hills of Pike County in southern Ohio, offering 79 electric campsites plus tent-only sites for overnight guests. The campground sits on the south side of a hand-dug 13-acre lake created by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, surrounded by dense state forest on 587 acres of rustic parkland. The campground accommodates RVs up to 50 feet in length and provides electric hookups at all standard sites. Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire ring. Facilities include a seasonal shower house, dump station, and seasonal camp store. Select sites are pet-friendly for those bringing dogs. Reservations can be made through ReserveOhio.com or by calling the reservation line. Beyond camping, visitors can enjoy six miles of hiking trails, fishing in the lake, swimming at the beach, and paddle boat or canoe rentals. The park is located in the heart of the Appalachian plateau, where white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and abundant wildflowers can be spotted. The rustic setting and small lake make this a peaceful retreat for those seeking a quieter camping experience in southern Ohio's scenic forested hills.

Directions

From Bainbridge, Ohio, take US-50 E for approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Potts Hill Road and continue for about 2.5 miles. Then, turn right onto Pike Lake Road; the park entrance will be on your left.
