About

Lead Hill Campground is a splendid waterfront destination situated on the Arkansas side of Bull Shoals Lake, which stretches across the Arkansas and Missouri border with nearly 1,000 miles of shoreline. The campground features 75 individual campsites with electric hookups, most equipped with canopied picnic tables for shade, plus two group campsites. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, a dump station, boat launch ramp, designated swim area, playground, and an on-site marina. Bull Shoals Lake, formed by a dam built in 1951 on the White River in the Ozark Mountains, is renowned as a premier destination for water sports enthusiasts. Year-round fishing tournaments keep anglers active in pursuit of trophy bass, with 12-pound largemouth bass commonly caught. The lake attracts scuba divers exploring submerged structures, naturalists and birders observing wildlife along the shoreline, hikers exploring the surrounding Ozark terrain, and boaters of all kinds enjoying the expansive waters. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages numerous public parks around Bull Shoals Lake, providing access to additional swim areas, 11 marinas, and several hundred miles of undeveloped coves and natural shoreline. Lead Hill serves as an excellent base camp for exploring the entire lake system and enjoying the scenic beauty of the Ozarks.
