About

Lead Hill Campground is a well-equipped Corps of Engineers facility on the Arkansas side of Bull Shoals Lake, which stretches across the Arkansas-Missouri border with nearly 1,000 miles of shoreline. The lake was formed by a dam built in 1951 on the White River in the Ozark Mountains. The campground offers 75 individual campsites plus two group sites, all with electric hookups and most with water connections. Sites feature paved driveways and canopied picnic tables. Bull Shoals Lake is renowned for fishing, with year-round tournaments targeting bass up to 12 pounds. The lake also draws birders, naturalists, scuba divers, and water sports enthusiasts. The campground provides direct lake access with a designated swimming area, playground for families, and an on-site marina. The area is managed by the Little Rock District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Surrounding the lake are 11 marinas and several hundred miles of undeveloped shoreline and coves to explore.
