North Fork Slate Creek Campground is a small, primitive campground consisting of five campsites situated at the scenic confluence of Slate Creek and its North Fork in the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. Located along Forest Road 354, approximately eight miles east of Slate Creek, this remote campground offers a quiet retreat for campers seeking a backcountry experience. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. The campground features vault toilets but no potable water, so visitors must bring their own water supply. There are no garbage services, and campers are required to pack out all trash. The facility can accommodate up to five vehicles and is suitable for small tent trailers, travel trailers, self-contained pickup campers, and small motorhomes. The area is popular with hikers and mountain bikers who can enjoy loop trails that wind through the surrounding forest. Anglers can also fish in the nearby creek. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no fees or reservations required.
