About
Natural Bridges Campground is located in Natural Bridges National Monument, approximately 35 miles west of Blanding, Utah, at 6,500 feet elevation in a high-desert environment. The 13-site campground operates year-round and is situated in a sprawling pinon-juniper forest that provides privacy between sites while maintaining views of wide-open skies. Each site includes a fire grill, picnic table, and tent pad, accommodating both tent campers and RVs up to a combined vehicle length of 26 feet. The campground is just one-quarter mile from the visitor center and serves as an ideal base for exploring three of the largest natural bridges in the United States: Kachina, Owachomo, and Sipapu, named in honor of the ancestral Puebloans. Bridges can be viewed from overlooks along the nine-mile loop drive or via hiking trails that descend into White and Armstrong canyons. As the world's first International Dark Sky Park, Natural Bridges offers exceptional stargazing opportunities with unpolluted skies. The campground is surrounded by Bears Ears National Monument and is within two hours of Hovenweep National Monument, Monument Valley, Arches, and Canyonlands National Parks.
