* WHAT...Up to 1.8 ft of inundation above ground level is possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...San Francisco Bay and San Pablo Bay shoreline, Monterey Bay shoreline, and the Pacific Coast. * WHEN...From 5 AM Wednesday to 2 PM PST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...At the San Francisco tidal gauge, high tide is expected to be: 1.5 ft above normal (7.36 ft MLLW) at 7:51 AM Wednesday 12/31 1.7 ft above normal (7.55 ft MLLW) at 8:41 AM Thursday 1/1 1.8 ft above normal (7.66 ft MLLW) at 9:34 AM Friday 1/2 1.8 ft above normal (7.63 ft MLLW) at 10:26 AM Saturday 1/3 1.6 ft above normal (7.42 ft MLLW) at 11:18 AM Sunday 1/4 These predictions include 0.5 feet of storm surge that will enhance the astronomical tide and flooding threat. High tide varies up to 90 minutes earlier or later along the Pacific Coast and through the San Francisco Bay, respectively.

Steep Ravine Environmental Campground is one of California's most scenic camping destinations, featuring 7 primitive walk-in campsites perched on coastal bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Located on a marine terrace along Highway 1, approximately one mile south of Stinson Beach, the campground sits within Mount Tamalpais State Park where mountain meets sea in spectacular fashion. The walk-in campsites offer unparalleled coastal views and are situated alongside the park's historic rustic cabins. Each campsite includes a picnic table and BBQ grill, with potable water and vault toilets available in the area. Visitors must park in the small parking lot and walk their gear to campsites; wheelbarrows are available to assist with gear transport. Site 7 is ADA accessible. The campground provides access to excellent hiking, including the beautiful Steep Ravine Trail on the other side of Highway 1. Due to high demand, reservations through ReserveCalifornia are strongly recommended and typically fill quickly. The location offers a rare opportunity to experience primitive camping with world-class ocean views in one of the Bay Area's most beloved parks.

From Highway 101 take Highway 1 to the Stinson Beach exit. The campground is located on Highway 1 approximately one mile south of Stinson Beach.
