About

Maple Grove Campground is a Bureau of Land Management facility located in southeastern Idaho near Oneida Narrows Reservoir in Franklin County. The campground sits at a higher elevation and features typical regional landscape with opportunities for various outdoor recreation activities. With just 12 developed campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis, the campground tends to fill on weekends during the operating season. Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. Shared amenities include vault toilets, horseshoe pits, and a boat ramp with a dock providing access to Oneida Narrows Reservoir for boating, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, and swimming. The campground enforces a pack-in, pack-out policy as no dumpsters are provided on site. Facilities are exclusively for registered overnight campers, and day-use is not permitted. The campground is managed by the BLM Pocatello Field Office and operates under a 14-day camping limit within any 28-day period. Campsites must be occupied nightly with no holding of sites allowed. At $5 per vehicle per night, Maple Grove offers an affordable base for exploring the recreational opportunities of the Oneida Narrows area.

From Preston, Idaho, travel north on ID 34 about 6 miles then turn right onto ID 36. Travel about 3 miles and turn left on Oneida Narrows Road. Travel north to Maple Grove Campground.
