About
Maple Grove Campground occupies a prime location adjacent to Oneida Reservoir in the Oneida Narrows of southeast Idaho. Managed by the BLM Pocatello Field Office, this 12-site campground serves approximately 10,000 visitors annually who come for the reservoir's fishing, boating, water skiing, jet skiing, and swimming opportunities. The campground features developed sites equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, vault toilets, horseshoe pits, and a boat ramp with dock. Sites are first-come, first-served with no reservation system in place. There are no dumpsters on-site, so campers must pack out all trash. Day-use is not permitted; facilities are reserved for paid overnight campers only. From Preston, travel north on ID-34 for about 6 miles, turn right onto ID-36, continue approximately 3 miles, then turn left on Oneida Narrows Road and follow it north to the campground.
