In southeast Idaho, Bear Lake Valley, Bear River Range, Blackfoot Mountains, Caribou Range, Franklin/Eastern Oneida Region and Marsh and Arbon Highlands. * WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - An abnormally moist airmass will overspread eastern Idaho later tonight and continue into the day tomorrow. At 444 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles northeast of Juniper, or 20 miles north of Snowville, moving east northeast at 10 to 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 45 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Oneida and south central Power Counties.
