About

Little Buffalo State Park's campground sits in the wooded hills of Perry County, offering a comfortable base for exploring this 830-acre park centered around Holman Lake. The 46-site modern campground accommodates a range of camping styles: primitive walk-to sites for those seeking seclusion, standard sites, and full-service sites with electric, water, and sewer hookups for RV campers. Every site includes a fire ring and picnic table, and the nearby shower house provides flush toilets, hot showers, and potable water. The park's 88-acre lake offers swimming at a designated beach, boat rentals, and fishing for bass, catfish, and trout. Historic attractions include Shoaff's Mill, a restored grist mill, and the covered bridge. Over eight miles of trails wind through the surrounding forests, suitable for hiking and mountain biking. Reservations are available through Pennsylvania's state park system at ReserveAmerica. The campground operates seasonally from the day before trout season (typically mid-April) through the third Sunday in October. Pets are welcome on all campsites.
