The campground sits at 5,400 feet elevation along Tensleep Creek, surrounded by a forest of lodgepole pine. Each of the 11 sites features a picnic table and campfire ring with grill. Vault toilets and potable drinking water from a hand pump are available, and trash collection is provided during the operating season. Sites are limited to 8 people and 2 vehicles each. Firewood is available for purchase from the camp host. Recreation opportunities abound in the surrounding area, including OHV trail riding, mountain biking, day hiking, and fishing in Tensleep Creek and nearby lakes.
