River Run Park is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground conveniently positioned just below Powersite Dam on Bull Shoals Lake in south-central Missouri, near Forsyth. The park offers 32 campsites, all equipped with electric and water hookups, making it suitable for RVs and trailers. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, and a playground for families. The campground's location provides immediate lake access, making it ideal for anglers targeting spotted bass and crappie, particularly during the prime spring and fall fishing seasons.
The natural setting features sturdy hardwoods and cedar glades surrounding the rocky bluffs and unique geological formations characteristic of the Ozark region. Visitors can enjoy hiking, birding, all types of water sports including boating and swimming, and in-season hunting. The campground serves as a convenient base for exploring nearby attractions, including the Jones Point State Wildlife Management Area for wildlife viewing and birding opportunities.
The lively tourist town of Branson is just minutes away, offering shopping, dining, and live entertainment. Reservations are handled through Recreation.gov and can be canceled up to 2 days before the reservation start date with a $10 cancellation fee. The park operates seasonally from May through October.

From Mountain Home, AR, travel north on State Route 5 for 24 miles to US 160. Follow 160 west for 45 miles to Forsyth, MO. Take a left on Hyw 76 W and the park entrance will be approximately one mile ahead on your right.
