About
River Run Park sits at the base of Powersite Dam on Bull Shoals Lake in Taney County, Missouri, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The campground provides 32 developed sites, all equipped with electric and water hookups. Facilities include flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, a playground, and a boat ramp for direct lake access.
Spring and fall offer prime fishing for spotted bass and crappie, though fishing opportunities exist year-round. The area supports hiking, birding, swimming, and in-season hunting. Nearby, sturdy hardwoods and cedar glades surround rocky bluffs and unique Ozark rock formations. The tourist town of Branson is just minutes away for shopping, dining, and live entertainment.
Note that this park is prone to flooding during high water periods due to its location below the dam. Off-road vehicles, livestock, and firearms are prohibited.
Directions
From Mountain Home, AR, travel north on State Route 5 for 24 miles to US 160. Follow 160 west for 45 miles to Forsyth, MO. Take a left on Hwy 76 W and the park entrance will be approximately one mile ahead on your right.
