Lake Anna State Park sits on 2,976 acres along Virginia's largest man-made freshwater lake, created in 1972. The park's cabin and lodge accommodations provide comfortable year-round lodging for families and groups seeking lakeside recreation. The 10 two-bedroom frame cabins were built around 2002 and feature residential-style construction with metal roofs, wood laminate flooring, full kitchens with refrigerator, stove, and microwave, plus fireplaces and wrap-around decks. Seven cabins offer lake views. Cabin 10 is ADA accessible. The two six-bedroom lodges, Pigeon Lodge and Finch Lodge, are ideal for larger groups with capacity for 16 guests. Each lodge includes a full kitchen with dishwasher, three bathrooms, washer/dryer, front and back decks, and gas log fireplace. Lodges are partially ADA accessible. All cabin and lodge guests must bring their own linens, towels, and bedding. Pets are permitted in cabins and lodges with a $20 per pet per night fee. The park offers swimming at a sandy beach, boat launch access to the 13,000-acre lake, 15 miles of trails, a fishing pond, and an active visitor center. Day use parking fees apply year-round, and the park frequently reaches capacity on summer weekends and holidays.
