About
Lake Anna State Park campground sits on the shores of Lake Anna, one of Virginia's most popular recreational lakes. The campground features 46 sites divided into two loops: 23 standard sites ideal for tent camping and 23 sites with electric (20/30/50-amp) and water hookups for RVs and trailers up to 60 feet. Tent pads measure 20' x 25', and every site includes a picnic table, fire ring with grill, and lantern holder. The park's bathhouses provide hot showers, flush restrooms, and coin-operated laundry facilities. A dump station serves RV campers. Beyond the campground, the park offers a sandy swimming beach, an ADA-accessible fishing pond stocked for children, a boat launch, and more than 15 miles of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. The park also offers camping cabins, yurts, two-bedroom cabins, and six-bedroom lodges for those seeking more amenities. Generators are not permitted in the campground, and quiet hours run from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Firewood should not be brought from outside the park to prevent the spread of invasive pests. The park frequently reaches capacity on weekends and holidays, so reservations are strongly recommended.
