Open — Campgrounds are typically open from mid-May through mid-September when water is available. The three public-use cabins are available year-round, though winter access requires hiking from the plowed parking area. Online reservations are available June 1 through August 31. Camping limit is 7 consecutive days.

K'esugi Ken Campground opened on May 26, 2017, as Denali State Park's premier camping destination. Located at mile 135.4 of the Parks Highway, this modern facility offers commanding views of Denali and the Alaska Range from multiple campsites. The complex features 32 RV sites accommodating rigs up to 100 feet in length with electric hookups (20, 30, or 50 amp), plus 10 walk-in tent sites nestled along the campground's paved loop roads. Three public-use cabins (Hunter, Tokosha, and Denali) provide year-round accommodation with woodstoves and half-lofts. The campground is designed with accessibility in mind, with most sites meeting ADA standards. RV sites include picnic tables, fire rings, and grassy tent pads, while walk-in tent sites feature similar amenities with food storage lockers. Sites 3-5 offer exceptional Alaska Range vistas, while sites 6-10 border a scenic ravine and stream. Over 2 miles of walking trails connect the entire complex, suitable for bicycles in summer and cross-country skiing in winter. An open-air interpretive center/pavilion provides educational programming about Denali State Park and the Alaska Range during summer months (Memorial Day through Labor Day). The facility includes vault toilets throughout, hand pump water wells in both camp loops, and a resident camp host. A group camping area accommodates up to 50 people and is available by reservation.
