About
Kerrick Corral Horse Camp is a primitive equestrian campground situated in the Stanislaus National Forest along Highway 108 corridor. Accessed via Crabtree Road (4N26) off Highway 108 near Aspen Meadow Pack Station, the campground is located approximately 7.5 miles from the highway on forest road 4N25. This undeveloped camping area is designed specifically for horse campers and features corrals for pack animals. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation system or fees required. Each designated site accommodates up to six people with a maximum stay of 14 days. Basic amenities include vault toilets and picnic tables, but campers must bring their own water as no potable water is available on-site. The facility is located in Tuolumne County along the Summit/Mi-Wok Ranger District and serves as a convenient base for equestrian recreation in the surrounding forest. A California campfire permit is required for any stoves, grills, or campfires and can be obtained free at preventwildfireca.org or any ranger station. Visitors are expected to practice Leave No Trace principles and camp only in designated sites.

From Highway 108 near Aspen Meadow Pack Station, take Crabtree Road (4N26) to forest road 4N25 and continue approximately 7.5 miles. Turn right onto 4N25 just before the pack station.
