The campground provides basic amenities including picnic tables at each site, fire rings for campfires, and vault toilets. The facility operates seasonally from early June through the end of October. During the 2024 season, water service was not available and no fees were collected, though the campground typically charges $14 per night when all services are operational. Located approximately 53 miles east of Lowell, Idaho and 57 miles west of Lolo, Montana, the campground serves as an excellent base camp for exploring the Lochsa River corridor and surrounding wilderness areas.
