Holland Lake Group Site is located on the shores of Holland Lake in the Swan Valley of northwest Montana within Flathead National Forest. At an elevation of 4,050 feet, the site sits among Tamarack, Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir trees on the banks of the 416-acre lake. The group site shares amenities with the larger Holland Lake Campground complex including vault toilets, drinking water, a primitive boat ramp, and day use picnic areas. The trailhead for the popular Holland Falls National Recreation Trail is near the campground, offering an easy 1.6-mile hike that climbs 750 feet along the lake shoreline to the base of Holland Falls waterfall. Holland Lake provides excellent opportunities for boating, water skiing, and fishing for trout and Kokanee salmon. The site is located in bear country, with both grizzly and black bears present in the area. A food storage order is in effect, requiring proper storage of all attractants. The group site requires a non-refundable down payment of 50% at booking, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to check-in. The stay limit is 10 consecutive days. Check-in is at 2:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. The campground is located 7 miles south of Condon and 25 miles north of Seeley Lake off Highway 83.

Directions

From Highway 83, turn east on Holland Lake Road near mile marker 35 and travel 3.5 miles to the intersection with Owl Creek Loop Road. Follow Holland Lake Road to the left; the group site entrance is a short distance down the road.
