About

Holland Lake Group Site (Site GRP1) is a large group camping area within the Holland Lake Campground complex in the Swan Valley of northwest Montana. The site can accommodate groups of 10 to 100 people with a maximum of 15 vehicles, making it suitable for family reunions, scout troops, and organized group outings. The pull-through gravel pad accepts RVs up to 48 feet in length. The group site includes a picnic table and fire pit with grill. Vault toilets and potable drinking water from a hand pump are available in the campground. The RV dump station is closed for the 2026 season, and portable restrooms have replaced the flush toilets in the Bay Loop area. There are no hookups at this primitive Forest Service campground. Holland Lake offers excellent recreational opportunities including boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing for trout and kokanee salmon. The Holland Falls National Recreation Trail and access to the Bob Marshall Wilderness are nearby. Reservations are required through Recreation.gov, with pricing based on group size ranging from $100 to $325 per night.
