Hidden Lake Campground is a small, primitive 5-site campground situated on a scenic 33-acre kettle lake southwest of Seeley Lake, Montana, on the west edge of the Clearwater Valley. Located within Lolo National Forest, this peaceful campground offers a secluded retreat for campers seeking solitude and basic outdoor recreation. The lake is stocked with westslope cutthroat trout, providing good fishing opportunities. Non-motorized boating is allowed, making it ideal for canoes, kayaks, and small watercraft during ice-free months. The campground itself is primitive with no developed amenities—there are no restrooms, no potable water, and no trash service, so visitors must be self-sufficient and practice Leave No Trace principles. Access to Hidden Lake Campground is via Forest Service Road 17662, which extends from Beaver Creek Road. The campground operates year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations and no fees.
