About

Seeley Lake Campground occupies a scenic position on the western shore of Seeley Lake, a glacial lake nestled in a valley between the Swan and Mission mountain ranges. The campground is distinguished by its grove of towering Western larch trees, with many specimens over 500 years old and several feet in diameter. The nearby Girard Grove features "Gus," a Western larch over 1,000 years old. The 29 individual sites accommodate both tents and RVs, each equipped with a paved parking spur, picnic table, and fire ring with grill. Amenities include flush toilets, accessible vault toilets, drinking water from hand pumps, and bear-resistant trash containers throughout. No hookups are available. The campground provides direct access to swimming, boating, and water skiing on Seeley Lake. Anglers target kokanee salmon, bass, whitefish, pike, trout, and perch. The Clearwater Canoe Trail begins just north of the lake, offering 3.5 miles of flat water ideal for wildlife viewing. The area supports white-tailed deer, elk, moose, grizzly and black bears, bald eagles, and trumpeter swans.
