About

Hacienda Campground sits within Roper Lake State Park in Graham County, offering lakeside camping with views of the 32-acre lake and surrounding mountain scenery. The campground provides 20 sites with water and electric hookups (20/30 amp), making it well-suited for RV camping. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table, with hot showers available in the restroom building near the campground entrance. The park sits at the base of Mt. Graham in the Pinaleño Mountains, providing excellent bird watching opportunities with over 200 species documented. Activities include fishing, swimming at the designated beach, boating on the lake, and hiking the park trails. A visitor center with a park store offers books, fishing equipment and bait, souvenirs, and other supplies. Roper Lake operates year-round with day-use hours from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the entrance gate closing at 9 p.m. The park has a dump station available to registered campers, handicap-accessible restrooms and showers, and a fenced dog park for pets. Reservations can be made online through Arizona State Parks or by calling the reservation line.
