About
Guajome Regional Park Campground sits in North San Diego County, offering a natural retreat just 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean. The 33 campsites have been upgraded to include full RV hookups with water, sewer, and 20/30/50 amp electric service. Paved driveways accommodate RVs up to 45 feet. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table. A rustic cabin sleeping 5 is also available.
The park encompasses diverse Southern California habitats including woodlands, chaparral, wetlands, and mixed grasslands, all accessible via 4.5 miles of multi-use non-motorized trails. Two fishing ponds support fish and migratory bird populations. Recreational facilities include a caravan pavilion, playgrounds, volleyball and basketball courts, horseshoe pits, and an outdoor fitness area.
Nearby attractions include Rancho Guajome Adobe, an 1850s-era hacienda, the historic San Luis Rey Mission, and the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum. The campground's coastal proximity makes it convenient for beach excursions while providing a quieter, nature-focused camping experience.
