Hoke Valley- Forest Road 860-07 (17E11 Trail) Closed
Forest Road 860 -01 (17E11 Trail) in the Hoke Valley area has been closed to allow for Hoke Valley Meadow restoration.

About
Findley Campground is located on the western shore of Jackson Meadows Reservoir at 6,100 feet elevation in Tahoe National Forest. The campground sits within a rolling forested valley of pine and fir trees, offering views of the Sierra Crest and English Mountain. As part of the Woodcamp Recreation Area, campers have access to excellent water recreation opportunities including boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing for rainbow and brown trout. The campground features 14 campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and campfire ring. A nearby boat ramp provides reservoir access, and a designated swim beach is located within the recreation area. A half-mile interpretive nature trail winds through the adjacent Woodcamp Campground, and a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail meanders along the reservoir's east side. The surrounding area offers opportunities for hunting, mountain biking, and hiking. The campground is operated by Nevada Irrigation District in cooperation with Tahoe National Forest. Access requires driving 18 miles on Forest Road 07 from Highway 89, then continuing approximately four miles past the reservoir dam on paved and gravel roads. Bears frequent the area, and approved food storage containers are required.
Directions
Take Interstate 80 to the Truckee/Highway 89 North exit. Follow Highway 89 north for 17 miles to the Jackson Meadows turnoff. Travel west on Forest Road 07 for 18 miles to Jackson Meadows Reservoir. Proceed across the dam and continue on paved/gravel road for approximately four miles. Turn left at the Woodcamp Recreation Area sign and proceed to the campground.
