About
Located 1.25 miles from the main recreational area of Fairy Stone State Park, this dedicated equestrian campground provides horse owners with convenient access to over 10 miles of multi-use trails through the Little Mountain Trail System. The facility offers 10 graveled pull-through sites with multiple amp options and water hookups, designed to accommodate RVs and horse trailers up to 50 feet in length. Each site includes its own horse stall where horses must remain when not being ridden. The campground is designed specifically for equestrian camping with no shade trees on sites and no individual picnic tables or fire rings at each location. Instead, campers share two common areas at either end of the campground, each equipped with three picnic tables and a fire ring for communal use. All sites and the lower common area are ADA-accessible. The facility has pit toilets only, but campers may use the group campground bathhouse for showers between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. While there is no dump station at the equestrian campground, campers can access the dump station at the main campground, though the road is hilly with sharp curves. Non-horse campers may reserve sites if they remain available within 30 days of the desired arrival date.
