About
Davis Branch Campground is one of several small campgrounds situated along Tellico River Road (Forest Road 210) in the Cherokee National Forest. This primitive camping area caters to visitors seeking a quiet, no-frills camping experience near excellent fishing opportunities on the Tellico River. The campground features 6 campsites available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. The campground is equipped with vault toilets but does not have drinking water available on-site, though water can be found at nearby campgrounds along the Tellico River corridor. Mobile payment via the Recreation.gov Scan and Pay feature may be available, though cellular service in this remote area can be limited or nonexistent. Davis Branch Campground is particularly popular with anglers who appreciate the convenience of camping right along the river. The campground's location approximately 15 miles upstream from the Tellico Ranger Station on Forest Road 210 places it in a scenic, forested setting ideal for those seeking a peaceful camping experience away from more developed recreation areas.
Directions
From Tellico Plains, turn onto TN 165 for approximately 5 miles, then turn right onto Forest Road 210 past the Ranger Station. The campground is approximately 15 miles upstream.
