About

Coleman State Park sits in the remote Great North Woods of New Hampshire, offering a true backcountry camping experience just twelve miles east of Colebrook in Stewartstown. The park features 29 campsites spread across several types: standard tent sites, ATV-accessible sites with direct trail access to the extensive OHRV network, and rustic lean-to shelters. All sites are primitive with no hookups available. The campground provides solid amenities for a remote location, including a building with three coin-operated showers, laundry facilities, and a small retail store. Flush toilets are available during the main season, with vault toilets accessible during shoulder seasons when water systems are shut down. A dump station is available for registered campers. Fire rings are provided at campsites. The park is a hub for outdoor recreation, surrounded by hundreds of miles of OHRV trails and the Cohos Trail system for hiking and mountain biking. Little Diamond Pond offers excellent trout fishing and paddling opportunities with a 10 mph boat speed limit. Cell service is extremely limited or nonexistent; an emergency pay phone is located at the Recreation Hall.
