About

Coleman State Park lies on the shore of Little Diamond Pond in Stewartstown, twelve miles east of Colebrook in New Hampshire's remote north country. This campground offers a true wilderness experience with 29 campsites, including standard sites, tent-only sites, pop-up/tent sites, and a lean-to shelter. All sites are accessible from ATV trails, making it an ideal base for off-road enthusiasts exploring the 1,000 miles of trails in Coos County. The park is known for excellent trout fishing in Little Diamond Pond and nearby streams. A boat launch is available within the park for small boats, with a 10mph speed restriction. The remote location and limited cell service create an authentic backcountry camping experience. Year-round lodging options include seven cabins and four lodge houses at The Lodges at Coleman State Park, which remain open when the main campground is closed for the season. Winter activities include snowmobiling and cross-country skiing on the extensive trail network. The park serves as an excellent base for fall hunting. Amenities include coin-operated showers, flush toilets in the main campground, vault toilets, a dump station, and drinking water. No sites have hookups. Campers must check in at the Coleman Estates Lodge Office, and quiet hours are enforced from 10pm to 7am.
