About

Catface Corner Campground is a primitive tent-only facility located in the Osceola Wildlife Management Area near the Saint Mary's River in Baker County, Florida. Situated along the pristine north shore of Ocean Pond, this remote campground offers 4 individual sites, each accommodating up to 8 people and 2 tents. The Florida National Scenic Trail runs alongside the campground, making it an ideal basecamp for hikers. Each campsite includes an elevated tent pad, picnic table, fire ring with grill top, trash can, and lantern post. The campground provides excellent opportunities for hiking, bird watching, wildlife viewing, fishing, and stargazing. Hunting is available in the surrounding wildlife management area during designated seasons. This is truly primitive camping with no restroom facilities, potable water, showers, or hookups. Cell reception is nonexistent. Campers must be fully self-sufficient and prepared for encounters with alligators, snakes, and other wildlife that are part of the natural habitat. Alcohol is prohibited, and generators must be shut down between 10 PM and 5 AM.
