Bethpage State Park
The park is open year-round for day use. Pavilion reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance and become available starting February 1st each year. This is not an overnight camping facility.

The combination of drying fine fuels, northwest wind gusts between 25 and 30 mph, and relative humidity values between 25 and 35 percent will contribute to an elevated risk of fire spread Sunday afternoon for the Lower Hudson Valley, New York City and Long Island. This forecast considers meteorological, fuel, and land conditions and has been developed in coordination with state fire and land management officials. As a reminder, the annual statewide burn ban remains in effect until May 14. No burn permits are issued. Use extra caution if handling any potential ignition sources such as machinery or matches and ensure to properly extinguish or dispose of cigarette butts. Please refer to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation website for more information on burn restrictions.

Bethpage State Park is a premier day-use recreational facility on Long Island, best known for its five world-class golf courses. The crown jewel is the Black Course, which has hosted the U.S. Open Championship in 2002 and 2009, the Barclays in 2012 and 2016, the PGA Championship in 2019, and will host the 2025 Ryder Cup. Beyond golf, the park offers diverse recreational opportunities including playing fields, tennis courts, bridle paths, and trails for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing in winter. The park features comprehensive amenities including a restaurant and catering facilities, a golf pro shop, and a driving range. Two large pavilions, Eagle and Bluebird, are available for reservation and can accommodate up to 250 people each. These pavilions are popular for group gatherings and events.
