About

Aspen Glen Campground is a small, intimate 9-site campground nestled in the Cache La Poudre River corridor within Roosevelt National Forest. The campground sits at 8,660 feet elevation in a scenic setting of aspen groves, mixed conifer forest, and open meadow adjacent to Colorado Highway 14. Joe Wright Creek flows nearby, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. Each campsite includes a tent pad, fire grate, and picnic table. The campground provides vault toilets and potable drinking water via a hand pump. Sites can accommodate up to 8 people, with parking spurs ranging from 25 to 35 feet in length. RVs up to 30 feet are permitted, though vehicles must fit entirely on the designated parking spur as off-road driving and parking are prohibited. The Poudre Canyon area offers excellent recreational opportunities including trout fishing in the Cache La Poudre River, hiking trails, mountain biking, scenic drives along Highway 14, and wildlife viewing. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no advance reservations accepted.
