About

Liberty Glen Campground is located on a ridgeline above Lake Sonoma's Warm Springs Arm in California's wine country. Managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the campground features approximately 100 campsites with electric and water hookups, positioned to take advantage of scenic lake views. The shoreline can be accessed via a strenuous one-mile hike from the campground. Lake Sonoma is nestled in the coastal foothills of Sonoma County and offers extensive recreational opportunities. Anglers fish for large and smallmouth bass, catfish, sunfish, and a small population of native rainbow trout. The lake provides excellent boating and swimming opportunities. The Liberty Glen area features several miles of trails popular with hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians, including the Serpentine, Rancheria, and Cove Trails. The recreation area includes additional amenities such as an archery range, air rifle range, disc golf course, outdoor gym, and dog park. The facility is approximately 45 minutes north of Santa Rosa and two hours from San Francisco, surrounded by world-famous vineyards and Sonoma County wine country.

Directions

Take Highway 101 to Healdsburg and exit on Dry Creek Road. Travel west 11 miles to the park boundary. Continue west another 4 miles following park road signs to reach Liberty Glen Campground at the top of the ridge.
