About

Jefferson Ridge Campground is located on Dierks Lake in southwestern Arkansas, where rugged ridges create stunning views over the 1,360-acre reservoir. The year-round campground offers 85 family sites, all equipped with full electric and water hookups, making it suitable for RVs and trailers. Modern amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, and dump stations. Two day-use group picnic shelters are also available. Sitting in the Ouachita Mountain Region, Dierks Lake is fed by the Saline River and is known for excellent bass and crappie fishing. The lake offers outstanding opportunities for boating, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming, with two boat ramps and two swimming beaches providing easy access. A playground and bank fishing access add to the recreation options. Hunters can access nearly 600 acres of public hunting lands in the upper reaches of the project, with game species including white-tail deer, bobwhite quail, mourning dove, grey and fox squirrel, cottontail rabbit, and various waterfowl. Nearby attractions include Crater of Diamonds State Park, Little Missouri Falls, and Cossatot River State Park. The campground is located in a secluded, wooded area with sites both by the lake and on the ridge, offering varied camping experiences within the same facility.
